Anne Miles

Anne Miles is the owner and Toad-in-Chief at Red Toad Media. A trained graphic designer, Anne’s strength lies in her ability to translate messages to the web through user interface design, web graphic and interactive design, web copywriting and social media marketing. Anne has designed everything from software interfaces to children’s books. She has taught college courses and also worked as a multimedia specialist for a Fortune 500 Company. Her first article for Smashing Magazine was published in July 2011. She lives and works on the outskirts of Louisville, Kentucky.

Bill M. Rice

Bill Rice began his love affair with WordPress in 2008 after years of frustration building sites in Joomla and Drupal. Its reliable and well-tested plugins, ease of use and supportive community, and he was instantly hooked. Since then Bill has dedicated his career specializing in WordPress websites and blogs. A voracious learner, Bill is a WordCamp junkie and has attended more than he’d admit. But as a Kentucky resident, the Louisville WordCamp is by far his favorite.

Currently, Bill is Production Director for WebMedley, based out of Lexington, KY. He manages a herd of Word nerds.

Daniel J Lewis

With a passion for creativity, Daniel J. Lewis has been a successful podcaster since 2007 and web designer long before then. Now self-employed as a freelance web designer and podcasting consultant, Daniel chooses WordPress for his and his clients’ sites because it’s fast, easy, and extendable. From his home studio near Cincinnati, Daniel hosts three podcasts covering niche topics: clean-comedy, how to podcast and use Audacity, and Christian movie reviews with critical thinking.

Drew McChesney

Owner & Creative Director at Jet A Studio

Drew has been designing and developing WordPress based websites for Jet A Studio since 2007. In that time, Drew has worked on over 60+ WordPress projects, ranging from one-page mini-sites to Multi-sites with thousands of pages. Drew received a B.F.A. in Studio Art from Indiana University in 2004 and has since been living and working in Louisville, KY. Notable clients include UofL Health Care (working with Forest Giant), Image Permanence Institute at RIT, and Seth Godin.

Eric Blackwell

Eric Blackwell is an organizer for WCL and is an avid WP enthusiast. He consults nationally on Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing and on the Real Estate Industry. He teaches organizations to dominate their industry niches and capture market share largely using WordPress as his platform of choice.

Jason McCreary

Jason is developer from Louisville, KY where he works at VIA Studio running a small team as Production Lead. Jason has spoken at WordCamp Louisville and Chicago as well as written articles for PHP|architect. With over a decade of PHP experience, he likes pushing WordPress as a development platform. Jason’s a self proclaimed geek, but you’d never know from his sarcastic and outgoing personality. If you catch Jason in the hall or at the genius bar, he encourages you to talk to him about WordPress, PHP, or anything really.

Knox Richards

Knox is the creator of the iKnox framework which allows WordPress users to create and manage mobile websites all from WordPress. Since 2005 Knox has been a recognized SEO and has built products that not only is catered to what users love, but what Google loves as well.

Knox will discuss the options WordPress users have when considering mobile content and experiences for iPhones, Droids and Blackberries, the pros and cons of various implementations and how to leverage a mobile site to enhance other web properties.

Nile Flores

Nile Flores is a sassy mom from Southern Illinois who has been a web and graphic designer since 2003. She has been in the WordPress community since the b2 days. She teaches people everything from WordPress to social media, SEO, and web design on both her sites: Blondish.net and WPAddict.net. She has developed a few plugins and soon to debut a couple themes to the WordPress theme and plugin directories.

Her goal has always been to help people rock out their websites. When she is not coding, hangs out with her son, writes poetry, travels, and even does karate twice a week.

Otto

Otto lives in Memphis, Tennessee, the Birthplace of Rock and Roll. Otto is a Tech Ninja at Audrey Capital, Matt Mullenweg’s investment and research company. When not hacking away at WordPress or the WordPress.org website, he spends his time homebrewing or scuba diving or searching out the best BBQ he can find, which he will always say is in Memphis.

Syed Balkhi is the founder of WPBeginner. He is known for his aggressive marketing skills, creative designs, and expertise in SEO. Syed has been in the industry for over eight years, and he has worked with some of the top brands in the industry.
